Penthouse Duomo est un appartement luxueux avec terrasse situé au cœur du centre historique de Catane. Il se trouve au troisième et au quatrième étage d’un ancien édifice, il est desservi par un ascenseur et l’appartement dispose de grandes terrasses qui offrent une vue magnifique sur l’Etna et sur la Piazza Duomo avec sa fontaine de l’éléphant qui est le symbole de la ville. La position très centrale de la demeure permet d’atteindre facilement à pieds les commerces de l’historique rue Etnea, le marché caractéristique du poisson, les bars de nuit de la rue baroque Crociferi et tous les monuments, les églises et les lieux intéressants de cette vive ville d’art. Purement refaite et meublée, Penthouse Duomo offre des espaces intérieurs accueillants et bien divisés, soignés dans les moindres détails et équipés du meilleur confort. Depuis le grand compartiment d’entrée, on accède au séjour lumineux qui se trouve à côté de deux chambres doubles confortables et deux salles de bain alors qu’à l’étage supérieur il y a la cuisine et une salle de bain de service. Depuis toutes les chambres on peut accéder aux terrasses. L’appartement dispose d’internet Wi-Fi, iPod dock station, 4 TV couleur, air conditionné, lave-linge, lave-vaisselle et chauffage. La demeure est en plus une excellente base pour visiter l’Etna et les localités caractéristiques d’Aci Trezza et d’Aci Castello, mais aussi de Taormina et Syracuse.

We spent two weeks in our comfortable Penthouse apartment in Catania. The location was perfect not only for visiting the important local sites, but also for taking day trips from the Borsellino bus station. The apartment was spacious, well – appointed and clean. We enjoyed many meals on our terrace overlooking the Piazza Duomo and the St. Agata alla Badia. Oksana was efficient, responsive, helpful and quick to take care of any issues. I enjoyed my stay in Penthouse Duomo in Catania. The location was superb - we were right above the Piazza del Duomo with unobstructed views of the Sant'Agata cathedral, with a huge terrace fitted with two separate sitting areas and a dining area that could be accessed directly from the master bedroom. Even though the apartment is in the heart of the city, it has a completely private feel. Apart from the main terrace, there's also one more - accessed via the kitchen on the upper level. The apartment is very spacious and had all the amenities we could need and more. A gift basket with local wine and products was a great, personal touch. I would definitely stay there again!

We had an excellent stay at the gorgeous Penthouse Duomo. Oksana was a gracious and most helpful host, helping us with everything from where to get our covid test, to how to prepare the apartment for the expected thunderstorm (wrongly!) predicted by metereologists. We are blessed to be able to see the world, and rarely encounter and apartment and host as nice as this one.

The entrance to the building needs significant remodeling. It makes a very bad first impression, especially when you consider how luxurious and well kept the penthouse is.

The assistant was not sufficiently fluent in English or French to communicate adequately but she tried to be most helpful. In the kitchen, the finish of drawers and cupboards was peeling, making a bad impression. On the terrace, the metal flower baskets were unstable and banging on the floor when windy. Disturbing during the night. Overall, the property deserves 9.5 over 10.

We travel a lot, we have been in nice places before, but this was different from the very first moment we came. To start with the key holder: not a stressed agency lady but a polite and helpful host. Then the apartment: sorry to say that, but in Italy it’s not easy to find a place where everything works form internet to shower. We felt at home from the very first minute. It feels like a private home, with all the books, the candles and the generous equipment (we have seen luxury flats without wineglasses). Thank you for the welcome presents, everything of a very high quality level: exactly what we would have left for our friends. After the first day, we discussed the possibility to come back, not just for a week but for a longer period. Thank you so much!

We used Penthouse Duomo for our 6 nights in Catania and it was perfect for my family. What a wonderful apartment in a very central location! The church bells were wonderful to listen to while drinking espresso on the terrace. We will definitely stay there again when we come visit family.
